Devotional ...on the palms of my hands

Never forgotten.

Isaiah 49:15-16

I would not forget you!

See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands.

Affirmation

I am not forgotten.

My children are not forgotten.

The fruit of my womb is not forgotten.

For my child belongs to God.

We are His.

My child’s name is inscribed on the palm of His hand. My son/daughter is on the Lord’s mind constantly. His thoughts concerning him/her far exceed the sand on the sea shore.

Prayer

Thank you, dear Lord, that we are not forgotten, for you never forget your own. Amen.

Reflection

In a rapidly changing world with growing populations and ever-evolving technology, I often find myself pondering my children's future. Will they stand out or become just faces in a crowd? Will their names be cherished and remembered by those around them? Yet, I find comfort in knowing that God promises to never forget me—or my children. No matter how the world changes, they will be remembered. Their lives are inscribed in His hands, and His thoughts about them outnumber the sands of the sea (Ps 139:17-18). I can confidently entrust their lives to Him, knowing with certainty that they are always cherished and will never be lost.

Reflection Prayer

Thank you, Lord, that my children are precious to you so precious that you have inscribed them on the palms of your hands. They are not lost in this world instead they belong to you. They are precious to you. Amen.
