Exodus 3:14 (NIV)

“God said to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM.’ This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

REFLECTION

When Moses asked God His name, God didn’t give a title—He gave a truth:

“I AM.”

God is not limited by time, circumstance, or human definition. He simply is—constant, complete, and unchanging.

And here’s what makes this powerful for your life:

The same God who calls Himself “I AM” is the One who created you.

That means your identity is not defined by:

  • your past

  • your struggles

  • other people’s opinions

Your identity is rooted in the One who is eternal, unshakable, and all-sufficient.

Because He is…

  • You are chosen

  • You are created on purpose

  • You are sustained by Him

You don’t have to strive to become enough.

You are already connected to the I AM.

AFFIRMATION

“I am who God says I am.

Because He is, I am secure, chosen, and walking in purpose.”

PRAYER

God,

Thank You for revealing Yourself as “I AM.”

Help me to trust that You are everything I need.

Remind me that my identity is found in You—not in fear, doubt, or the world’s expectations.

Teach me to walk boldly in who You created me to be.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today, when you feel uncertain, replace your thoughts with truth:

Instead of: “I’m not enough”

Say: “God is enough—and He is with me.”

Walk in confidence knowing:

You are defined by the I AM, not by the moment.
