Isaiah 54:13
Then all your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be your children’s prosperity. (ISV)
Prayer
Thank you, dear Lord, that this precious child is taught by you, in the throne room of the most High and great shall be his/her peace. Amen.
I can’t help but think of Moses, who was rescued from the river by Pharaoh’s daughter and raised in the palace, surrounded by everything wonderful. He must have received the best training, learning all that a king or prince needed to know (Ex 2:10, Acts 7:22). As a parent, I’ve always wanted the same for my children—I want to provide them with the best food, the best schools, and the best medical care. Yet, I often wonder if that’s truly enough, and the anxiety of parenting can be overwhelming.
But I find comfort in knowing that my children are being raised by God Himself, the King of kings and Lord of lords. They are nurtured in royalty, trained by the ultimate source of wisdom. He knows exactly what they need to learn and how to help them access His kingdom and all its blessings. I am so grateful that my children belong to God, and not only do they belong to Him, but they are also trained by Him. Truly, their peace is great.
Affirmation
I walk in the blessed assurance that my child/children are taught by the Lord Himself
My child/children are destined for greatness and set up for success.
Great is their peace.
Reflection Prayer
Thank you, dear Father, that I can hold fast to the promise that my offspring is royalty, children of the Most-High King. Just as earthly kings train up their children in nobility, you are training my child/children because they are heirs to your Kingdom. And because they are trained by You, they will be great, and You will make them successful. Amen.
